The World Medical Association Junior Doctors Network (WMA JDN) Pandemic Preparedness Working Group is pleased to invite you to an insightful webinar titled: "Understanding and Managing Mpox: A Global Perspective with a Francophone Focus."

This session will be held on Monday, 16 December 2024, from 14:00-15:00hrs GMT (timezone converter) and will take place online via Zoom platform.

As Mpox continues to emerge as a global public health concern, this webinar aims to:

• Enhance awareness of Mpox epidemiology and transmission trends, with a focus on francophone regions.
• Share clinical insights and best practices for diagnosis, management, and prevention.
• Equip junior doctors with the tools and knowledge needed for effective outbreak preparedness and response.
• Foster collaboration among healthcare professionals across diverse settings.

We are honoured to feature Prof. Kra Oufouët (Head of the Communicable Infectious Diseases Department at Université Alassane Ouattara, Côte d’Ivoire) as the keynote speaker. The webinar will also include interactive discussions, case studies, and practical recommendations tailored to francophone and resource-limited contexts.
